hi gas prices

If you are tired of high gas prices as I am, please help me to make the gas companies come down. We can start with Exxon-Mobil, last year they were number one in profits, this year so far they have had a 50% increase in profits. If you and all of your friends will boycott Exxon starting June 15Th 2007 for one month, you will see their prices come down. In the forties and fifties when the major oil companies refined more gas than they could use they sold to small oil companies that sold gas cheaper under Private labels. the major oil companies have forced them out of business. Now if we would boycott Exxon they don't have extra storage, so they would have to quit refining or build more storage tanks. Either would cost them money, so they would lower their prices to get us to buy. This would cause a domino effect, and the public would benefit. As for me, I have already stopped a year ago. If the prices stay up i will quit farming sell my land and equipment and retire to another place. Please help me and pass this along. together we have the power to stop these high prices. thanks david --------- It looks like the public doesn't care about hi gas prices. The recent holiday proves that. The oil companies raised the price just in time for the travel, and today lowered the prices so that the people wouldn't start asking for the government to step in and put on price controls as they did in the seventies. If everyone would do as I have asked, the prices would fall rapidly thanks again for reading my rant.
